Cavity Console Table

The Cavity Console is a cutout console table and the boldest piece in the range: a solid monolithic rectangular block with four vertical oval capsule-shaped openings carved straight through the body, deep enough to throw a real shadow and turn the front elevation into a graphic pattern. The cutouts here are purely sculptural rather than usable niches—for openings sized to hold books and decor, see the Contour Vault. It has no legs at all, sitting directly on the floor as a solid block, with fully rounded outer corners on all edges and a textured cement-like surface finish that adds tactile richness you can feel. Built from German MDF wood and bendy plywood, it comes in mustard yellow, burnt orange, maroon, red, blue, green, white, or grey. At 162 cm long, 40 cm wide, and 90 cm tall, it's best placed where it can be seen in full—a wide UAE entrance hall, a gallery wall, or an open-plan living space—and it arrives fully assembled. The textured finish holds dust, so brush it out of the cutouts with a soft, dry cloth first; then wipe with a slightly damp cloth, never an abrasive pad or chemical cleaner; and blot spills before they sink in.
